Manila Water Corporation deploys its Capital Expenditure Dashboard
Manila, Philippines – October 03, 2011 – Manila Water Corporation (MWC) has just recently deployed its Capital Expediture Dashboard (CAPEX) which was developed by Primesoft using Microsoft Sharepoint. The project had several key objectives in mind, particularly: 1) to develop a framework for automating and centralizing the consolidation, monitoring and reporting of the client’s end-to-end CAPEX project life cycle database, 2) to streamline, consolidate and control project process flows per headline from different sources and project stakeholders, 3) automate the generation and distribution of both internal and external reports to the management, 4) to simplify and unify the monitoring and tracking of project progress and delays, and 5) to create a standard program and project management framework using applications, tools and methodologies to be implemented in MWC for the entire CAPEX project life cycle.
A key methodology in the project was capturing source files using MS Excel and following the format defined by the client. The format was derived from SAP reports.
