Primesoft deploys custom software for tobacco giant PMFTC

Manila, Philippines – March 15, 2011 – Primesoft has just recently deployed the redeveloped Tobacco Bale Receiving System (TBRS) for tobacco giant, Philip Morris Fortune Tobacco Corp. (PMFTC). PMFTC engaged Primesoft in redeveloping PMFTC’s current tobacco bale receiving system as PMFTC has recognized the need to revise the said system as an interim solution prior to its global ERP application rollout. The system is a desktop application deployed in multiple buying and selling plants/sites with multiple workstation/users. Each site has its own database which is synced to a central database situated in a remote location. The new system inherits the previous system’s tobacco bale receiving process while enhancing and adding new processes that better control bale receiving operations.
