Primesoft launches Bonifacio Art Foundation's website

Manila, Philippines – October 24, 2011 – Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI), has recently launched its new website. Primesoft was tasked to develop the website with content management system (CMS) capabilities to allow the client to manage the website’s content by themselves. The challenge was to develop a website that would be viewable across all platforms even though the design pegs that were given to Primesoft were created with using Flash technology in mind. Primesoft used Javascript and Ajax technology instead to address this concern. The CMS was developed using PHP and MySQL under the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture of the CodeIgniter framework.

About BAFI

The Bonifacio Arts Foundation, Inc. (BAFI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization established in November 1996 to implement the Public Art Program of Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC). Its initial programs were guided by a master plan designed by Fine Art Services, Inc., a Los Angeles-based public art consultancy group headed by the late Tamara Thomas. Since its inception, BAFI programs have focused on public art programs specifically on the production of outdoor sculptures and art events. Sculptures were created through competitions and direct commissions. Since 1996, three sculpture design competitions have been held, including one in 1997 opened to international artists.
